My story begins in New York City, where I was born and raised. For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to caring for babies and new parents. By the time I was eight years old, I was working as a “mother’s helper” for five dollars an hour, so going into birth work was a natural trajectory for me.

After receiving my bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College in 2013, I assisted in the production of Ricki Lake and Abby Epstein’s film, “Sweetening the Pill,” a documentary focusing on fertility and hormonal health. I was immediately whisked into a world of midwives, diva cups, and doulas. From that point on there was no turning back!

In 2016, I became a certified birth and postpartum doula with Doula Trainings International. It was during this time that I discovered how useful my background in comedy and acting was in aiding my doula practice. Theater and improv have enabled me to connect more deeply with my empathic side. I strive to relate to, bring humor to, relief to, all with the intention of creating a welcoming and safe environment for my clients.

As your doula, I bring flexibility and an open heart to your individual needs. A sense of calm and compassion infuses everything I do: whether I am accompanying you to the hospital during labor or talking you through different birthing options within the comfort of your home, I want to ensure that you feel understood and heard every step of the way. At the center of my doula practice lies a desire to connect, support, and advocate for families as they bring new life into the world.
